Connie Signs, age 95, of Hastings, passed away on January 22, 2021 at Woodlawn Meadows. She was a beloved wife, mother, and grandmother. Connie was born April 20, 1925 in Lansing, the daughter of Fred and Ellen (Decker) Brown. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Al Signs; and brother, John Brown. Connie is survived by her daughter, Lana (Lance) Fliearman; son, Barrie (Brenda) Signs; three grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. Connie worked many years as a secretary in Mason and Lansing. She enjoyed watching the birds and wildlife in her backyard, especially humming birds. She liked cooking and baking for family and friends. She loved dancing, music (Jazz), politics, walking, and an occasional trip to a casino with friends. Connie was a longtime member of First United Methodist Church and circle member in United Methodist Women. According to her wishes, cremation has taken place and a private service was held Thursday, Jan. 28, 2021. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Lauer Family Funeral Home – Wren Chapel 1401 N.
